I use Assessment for Learning to set SMART Targets- (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Trackable) I enable pupils to consolidate their strengths, resolve misconceptions and use and apply the skills learned for Problem Solving and Reasoning. Working with children with learning and behavioural difficulties is one of my major strengths.

I ensure good communication with their parents; guiding them about resources and techniques which would help their child  achieve their targets. I believe in giving homework linked to what has been taught in the session to reinforce the learning and provide an opportunity for independent learning also. The impact of my tutoring is measurable and reflected in school results.

I prepare personalised resources depending on the requirement of the child. I have an  extensive understanding of the curriculum across different year groups and  adapt my lessons to the various learning styles of pupils, including those with special needs.
